  • Why 'Cloud Rabbit Designs'?
    I wanted a name for my business that was both personal and memorable; Cloud Rabbit Designs just felt right. I've always been a dreamer (with my head in the clouds), I'm skittish and scrappy (like a rabbit), and the word 'designs' does not confine my craft. All logos were designed by tattoo artist, Sherlane White of Hamilton, ON.
  • Why cork leather?
    Cork is an eco-friendly alternative to leather that is sustainable, vegan, and PETA certified. The bark is peeled from the tree (without harming it). The same tree can be harvested every 9 years for up to 300 years! Cork leather is as strong as its animal counterpart, is water resistant, and has naturally occurring anti-bacterial and anti-mildew properties. It has been treated to be UV resistant, stain resistant, and has had an abrasion treatment. All cork leather can be cleaned with a damp cloth and gentle soap and water.   • How do you decide the pricing of your products?
    I keep a detailed spreadsheet which calculates a fair cost of labour (per minute of cutting, ironing & sewing - yes, I've timed myself) plus materials (per square inch of fabric & unit of hardware), providing me with a reliable, comprehensive retail price for each product.
  • What are your shipping rates and policies?
    I offer tracked shipping at a flat rate of $10 for orders within Canada or $15 to the United States. Shipping labels will be addressed according to the information provided in PayPal at the time of checkout (please ensure this is correct prior to placing your order). At this time, I do not offer international shipping. If you have concerns regarding your shipping address, please reach out and we'll sort it out. Once I generate your shipping label, I update your tracking information through PayPal (you should receive updates via email from the carrier directly). I generally stop at the post office a couple times per week however, if you require your order by a certain date, let me know and I'll see what's possible. I do not offer local pick-up or drop-off, unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Can I place a custom order?
    Unfortunately, not at this time. I'm a solo operation (with a full-time job and a baby on the side) so, to keep life manageable and balanced, I'm choosing to focus my efforts in the studio on small batches and limited releases. Subscribe to my newsletter for timely details and insider secrets! If you'd like to inquire about an out-of-stock item or you'd like one of my products in a fabric seen elsewhere on my website, please submit an 'out of stock request' for the item you're interested in or contact me directly. I'll do my best to plan upcoming batches accordingly.
  • What about a custom strap size?
    If you're looking for a custom strap length (or width) I may be able to accommodate your request, depending on inventory. There may be a slight additional charge. Please contact me to inquire!
  • Do you accept returns and/or exchanges?
    I do not have a formal return or exchange policy; I just ask that you take the time to read full product description(s) and ask any questions *prior* to completing your purchase - or at least contact me immediately after you place your order. This is a small, solo operation and every moment I can preserve for sewing is precious. All of my products are meticulously crafted, truly one-of-a-kind, and built to last with quality hardware and materials. If you are for any reason unsatisfied with your experience or encounter any issues (not including expected general wear and tear), please do not hesitate to reach out and I'll do my best to make things right. The happiness of my customers is genuinely very important to me.
  • How do I clean and care for my bags?
    Spot-clean fabrics and cork leather with soap and water, let air dry completely. I do not recommend washing machines as they will reduce the lifetime of your bag or wallet or may cause damage. Do not iron or put in the dryer. Please be mindful that certain aspects of your bag may wear over time (moreso with daily use and/or unnecessary abuse). All of my products are made with quality ingredients and utmost attention to detail and craftsmanship however, if you are for any reason unsatisfied, do not hesitate to reach out and I will do my best to make things right. If you have mistreated your bag (ie. habitual over-stuffer) or damage is caused by accident, I cannot be held responsible or make repairs. Treat your bag with the same love it was made with and it will be by your side for a long time!

  • Can I place a wholesale/consignment order?
    Unfortunately, not at this time. I've ventured into this world before, but I just don't have the infrastructure to sew enough product (or a high enough profit margin) to consider this a feasible option right now... though I'll never say never.
